Females In Africa (FIA), an online Facebook group for all females in Africa celebrated their end of year party by affectionately touching the lives of the poor, needy and less-privileged Africans in Africa.

During our report, Keskus discovered that Females In Africa created an Africa-wide annual event tagged “#FIAOperationFeedThePoor2017” to financially help and support poor people, reach out to motherless children in orphanages and extend love to the homeless.

Members of FIA, FIAsters as they are fondly called themselves planned, coordinated and organised this event in their respective countries to establish immediate imparts to their societies.

The event took place in batches, in different African countries and major cities within 2.12.2017 – 15.12.2017.A planned Africa-wide annual event to help needy people and feed the poor is a first to be organised by African women in Africa.

FIAsters did this humanitarian function in service to humanity. They individually contributed monies to buy gifts, items, clothes, prepared cooked foods and went out to the streets to feed the hungry.

The whole exercise was done uniformly and FIAsters wore their FIA shirts for proper identification.

Females In Africa, FIA was founded on June 18, 2017 by Blessing Chima Okafor, as a platform for African women empowerment.

A closed group on Facebook where African females interact, socialise and empower themselves through sharing of ideas, ideals and values.
